The Washington Park Neighborhood of Milwaukee is one rich with history. A community that came to be through the development of both a city park and industrial growth, Washington Park carries a legacy of a diverse community of people from all walks of life, with the city park as a cornerstone of the community.
URBAN ECOLOGY CENTER - WASHINGTON PARK
Our Washington Park location was opened in 2007 to serve more neighborhood schools with our acclaimed Neighborhood Environmental Education Project. Now open to the public, after school programs for kids and community programs and activities for the whole family keep this branch humming with activity. We invite you to visit!

W.O.R.C. WORKING ON REFINING COMMUNITIES
.O.R.C. is a non-profit organization serving the communities of Milwaukee, WI by providing events to promote self-awareness and partnering with local businesses creating a positive change within the community. Our organization is designed to help the poverty-stricken area of Washington Park. W.O.R.C will provide Educational, Social, and Uplifting events for the community.
KLD CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT SERVICES
KLD Construction Management Services, LLC proposes to manage the Homeowner Improvement Grants funds in consultation with the NID Board and the Washington Park neighborhood stakeholders. In keeping with the past practices, we would draw on the knowledge and past experiences of the NID Board members and glean insight from the community to increase the scope and reach of the homeowner grant funds.
